Terms And Conditions

Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully. By allowing us to set up and by paying your booking fee, you are agreeing to these terms. By using the Jot Of Balloons, you agree to be bound by these terms. We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms at any given time.

Your Booking

Any order placed is only booked once a requested amount or 50% deposit fee is paid. This fee secures your date in our diary and is non refundable in any circumstances. The final balance is due no later than two weeks before your order/event/delivery. Once the final booking is paid, the booking cannot be changed or cancelled and the full amount becomes non refundable.

Payments

Payments can be made via bank transfer or cash. If the booking fee is not paid your order will not be confirmed and no materials will be ordered.

Cancelling and Rescheduling

You mat reschedule your order up to two weeks before the collection/delivery/set up date. If eligible, your booking fee can be transferred to a new date subject to our availability and our discretion.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. Due to the nature of our business and the fact we have already begun resourcing from our suppliers as soon as your booking is confirmed, all booking fees are none refundable, If the final balance has already been paid the total amount becomes none refundable and the event cannot be cancelled or changed.

Changes to your order

N0 items can be removed from your order once the materials have been purchased. Additional items can be added if there is at least fourteen days notice. Colour changes may incur additional charges depending on what has already been ordered or prepared.

Collections

All collections must be picked up at the agreed time from our premises if you miss your collection slot rescheduling will be at our discretion due to other customer appointments.

Once collected the care and transport of your balloons is your responsibility. The Joy Of Balloons is not responsible for any damage, deflation or loss.

By accepting your order on collection you agree the the items were in good condition when they left our premises.

Delivery and Balloon Installations

Setup time will be dependent on the size of the balloon display. These times will be discussed with you and your venue. Delivery and installation charge fees depend on the location and the set up you have ordered. This is to take into account extra working hours and travel.

Arrival

Access to an event must be secured and confirmed by you, the customer with reference to the venue. The Joy Of Balloons can not be responsible for the delays if the amount of time is not allocated to complete our install.

Damages and Stolen Items

Any damages or stolen equipment hired, will be paid for by the customer renting the equipment.

Weather Conditions

Balloons are very sensitive to temperature change. Please do not leave balloons in a hot or cold environment including vehicles. This may cause them to pop or deflate. Foils, latex and bubbles are all blown up 24 hours before your event to make sure there is no defects. We use the highest quality product for all our installs, however, we can not guarantee that your balloons will remain perfect and intact due to weather conditions. For example, wind, rain, sun, snow or handling of the décor. If the sun is out, extreme heat can make your balloons fade, giving them a matte effect due to the oxidising or popping may occur.

Photography and Social Media

We use photos taken of your display for our website or social media. If you do not wish for your items to be shared this way please notify us in writing when you place your order.

Safety Notice.

• We use high quality materials, latex, foils, bubbles and they are delicate and must be handled with care.

• Transport of balloons, please make sure your car is clear of any Sharpe objects and seats are folded down to create a space for the display.

• If it is a warm day ensure the air conditioning is on and the balloons are not left unattended.

• All hire equipment ie props, table stands etc are returned or we collect.

• Keep balloons at room temperature to get the best from them.

• Don’t keep them in a cold space fir example the garage or car over night as they will go flat.

• Don’t release the balloons into the environment please pop and bin them after use.

• If we do not have a suitable anchor point for example photo hooks, curtain rails or nails then we may have to use command hooks if removed correctly they don’t cause damage or marks to the walls however there is still a possibility this may happen or marks left The Joy Of Balloons accepts no liability in the event this happens.

• Balloons can cause a choking hazard once the balloons have been delivered The Joy of Balloons has no responsibility once we have left the location.

• Children under 18 should be supervised at all times Balloons are not toys and should be handled with care, They should not be ingested as your child could potentially choke.

• We work with high standard company for helium. Do not inhale the helium at any time

• Children should be monitored with helium displays and they should NEVER be left alone with them.

• The Joy Of Balloons recommends all balloons, Air and Helium, are secured or weighted down to prevent any injury or loss.

• Our balloons are made from high quality materials of latex and foil, please be mindful of the material and allergies

Disclaimer

The Joy Of Balloons cannot garentee how long the balloons will last once collected or set up as the conditions may vary. On install, we recommend that they stay in their allocated position to limit rik and or damage.
